I love you, Colin, but you are missing something big in your pursuit. We already have the power to change the system. And it is written in the US Constitution.

Clemency is the most powerful tool in criminal justice but its in the control of politicians and judges. By law, we can change that and at the same time end the injustices us right thinking people are clamoring for.

The only thing I love more than justice is the freedom to fight for it. And I have been doing just that since 1993. I am 63-years-old as I write this comment and if I die today, I would still say, God put me on this earth for prison and justice reform. And thought I hear/read you loud and clear on throwing out the baby with the bath water (abolish prisons and police) I respectfully say there is a better way: Californiaclemency.org.
