My point was BLM is barking up the wrong tree. Voting on initiatives not politicians is where change happens. In California an upset father helped pass the 3 Strikes initiative and 20 plus years later Californians realize the error of 3 Strikes and amended it. No politicians ran out to support it until it looked like it had a chance. California just passed another initiative that took power away from prosecutors. This will help many young adults who were tried incorrectly as adults. Then there is ALL states that have passed legal Marijuana laws. They were all initiatives. Though many politicians supported these measures it was the people that made it happen not politicians. So if anyone (BLM) crafts a great initiative it has a great chance of changing law in America.
